Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Trixie bet?
A Trixie is a system bet made up of 4 bets on 3 selections: 3 doubles and 1 treble. Unlike a treble, where all 3 selections have to win, a Trixie hands you a return as long as you get 2 winners.
How many winners do I need for a Trixie?
You’ll need at least 2 winners out of your 3 selections. Two winners give you returns from one double, while all 3 winners give you returns from all 3 doubles plus the treble.
How does a Trixie differ from a Patent?
A Patent includes singles (7 bets in total), so even one winner guarantees you a return. A Trixie leaves out the singles (just 4 bets), so you’ll need at least 2 winners, but the trade-off is a lower total stake.
